The DriveBlok family of 1 to 20 hp integrated drives have been enhanced with new features that include the ability to run in velocity servo mode by virtually eliminating latencies in the speed loop. This feature, it is said, results in true servo-velocity control from an ac induction or brushless PM motor. The modules are available in two sizes: Series 1000 covering one to five hp at 110 and 240 vac and 380 and 480 vac line inputs; and Series 2000 that covers 7.5 to 20 hp at 240 and 460 vac. Each model comes wit a Windows 95/NT-based software package, called wInControl, that allows the setup of all motor parameters and I/O, and can be used to run the system and monitor its performance.
