Single-Channel Optocouplers Meet Military Specifications

The 66163 and 66158 Mil-Spec, single-channel optocouplers are direct replacements for the company's 3C91C and 3C92C devices. The new devices are hermetically packaged in four-pin TO-46 headers and are capable of transmitting signals between two voltage sources. The internal base connection has been eliminated for improved noise immunity. Typical applications for these devices include switching power supplies, level shifting, motor control, line receivers, and for the elimination of ground loops.
