Operating at only 80W, the MAC 10 IQ fan filter unit offers low energy consumption along with built-in intelligent control. With its microcomputer-controlled GE ECM motor, the unit adjusts itself to maintain set airflow, compensating for changes in static pressure, filter loading, energy fluctuations or other local conditions. Like the original MAC 10, the new product offers low noise of 49 dBA. Each unit can be preprogrammed to a selected rate of airflow or an optional digital speed controller can be used to control airflow. Whichever method of airflow control is selected, the unit maintains balance in the cleanroom and exceed IES RP-2 recommendations.
