Program Designs AC Motors In Windows

Dec. 1, 2000

PC-IMD 2.5 ac induction motor design program is a simulation application developed for Windows 95/98/NT. The program provides the motor's sizing and preliminary design parameters as well as basic parameters of the power electronic converter and control.
Both interactive and fast, this design tool can model a wide range of single-phase induction motors including split phase, capacitor-start, two valve capacitors, permanent split, and split-phase types. It also models certain types of of multi-speed motors with tapped windings and two- and three-phase ac motors.
