Brushless Blowers Consume Little Power

May 1, 2001

Designed with a single-phase full wave winding mechanism, the Green Blower series motor blowers claim to have low power consumption and operate quietly. Suitable for laptop PCs and other portable designs, the GB series dc, brushless blowers measure just 4.8 mm thick, operate at up to 90°C, and claim a motor torque 80% higher than comparable devices. They also require fewer solder joints when used with a driver IC. These blowers come in seven sizes from 35 mm x 35 mm x 4.8 mm to 45 mm x 45 mm x 9 mm.
