Stepper And Driver Come In A Size 11

The AlphaStep miniature size 11 (28mm²) stepper motor and driver is available in two stack lengths. The AS34AK model is 45-mm long and produces 7.8 oz.-in. of holding torque at an input of 24 Vdc. The AS36AK has a stack length of 65mm and produces 17 oz.-in. of holding torque, also at an input of 24 Vdc.
The open frame driver measures 5.91" x 4.72" x 1.77" and provides 1A per phase to the AS34AK motor and 1.1A per phase to the AS36AK. System protection functions include overload, over voltage, over speed, speed error, sensor error, system error, and EEPROM data error signals. A velocity filter selection switch adds velocity damping when transitioning from acceleration to velocity and from deceleration to positioning.
