The new fully-insulated PIDG faston receptacle helps prevent electrical shorts between terminals, while the metal sleeve adds wire support for applications that are subject to high vibrations. The receptacles are useful for power supplies, automobiles, lawn and garden power equipment, and motors and can be used with tabbed terminal blocks. With nylon insulation and the support sleeve, the wire can bend in any direction without damaging the insulation or conductor. The faston receptacle accepts 0.250'' x 0.032'' tabs and accommodates 22-18, 16-14 and 12-10 AWG wire size ranges. Its body is made from brass with a copper support sleeve. Tape packaging can be requested for high-speed wire termination on the AMP-O-LECTRIC Model G Press, Model K Press, or Entry Level Terminator. TYCO ELECTRONICS, Harrisburg, PA. (800) 522-6752.
