The company's Pacesetter family of right angle, ac-inverter duty motors, gear motors, and ac variable-speed controls offer new motor and gear-head combinations, promising maximum output power in the smallest package. Applications for the inverter duty gear motors include factory automation, machine tools, conveyors, and material handling. They employ a proprietary five-stage insulation system that meets NEMA MG 1-1993, Section IV, Part 31 requirements. Both inverter and gear motors deliver 0.04 hp to 0.75 hp and are rated for 230 Vac/60 Hz, three-phase operation. The gear motors are permanently lubricated and require no maintenance. Standard features on most models include fan cooling, aluminum center rings and end shields, an IP-20 rating, and hardened helical output gearing. Hollow shaft versions of right-angle gear motors are also available. For more information, call BODINE ELECTRIC CO., Chicago, IL. (800) 726-3463
