Claiming to use less power to provide more torque than comparable standard hybrid step motors while reducing overall package size, the CT series step motors also promise to improve operating efficiency and increase machine throughput. Standard and custom motors are available in NEMA 17, 23, and 34 frame sizes in patent-pending aluminum housings that improve heat dissipation and provide higher torque output. The motors also feature a large bearing system to accommodate high thrust loads and high-side loading, allowing the load to mount directly to the motor shaft. This eliminates the need for couplings and load support bearings. DANAHER MOTION, Wood Dale, IL. (866) 993-2624.
