For testing electronic components at user facilities, the No. 955 500ºF (+260ºC) electrically-heated, top-loading oven measures 312" x 24" x 24". The oven features 4" insulated walls throughout, an aluminized steel exterior and interior, motor-operated rear-hinged door opening the top and front of the oven chamber, and a workspace floor reinforced for 7,200 lbs. loading onto a 0.25" steel plate surface. A digitally programmable temperature controller with two channels provides two independent zones of temperature control. Additionally, the oven includes two manual-reset excess-temperature controllers with separate contactors and four re-circulating, blower-airflow safety switches.
