The WL9 series of low-profile switching power supplies now include models with voltage outputs to 135 Vdc and an output power rating of 720 watts. Some of the supplies have slot output voltage ranges that vary +/-1 Vdc from the nominal, while others have wide adjustment ranges from 0-5 to 0-135 Vdc. They all can be used to provide either a constant voltage or a constant current. Supplies with wide output voltage ranges can be adjusted down to 0 volts, and both voltage and current can be programmed with 0-10V control voltage inputs. Voltage- and current-monitor outputs and an inhibit terminal are included on the pluggable connectors. Provisions for N+1 redundancy and paralleling for higher current are optional. Other features include universal input, PFC, and soft start operation. The low-profile supplies are 1.7-in. high and can be mounted on a rack panel as small as 1U. Applications include process control, ATE systems, motor control, LED light engines, and telecommunications. Models with single outputs from 3.3V/70A to 135V/5.3A cost $775. Wide-adjust models with ranges from 0-5V/70A to 0-135V/3.7A are priced at $800.00. Orders of 1-2 pieces within 6 days ARO. ACOPIAN, Easton, PA. (800) 523-9478.
