In a low-profile DFN2020-6 or TSOT23-6 package, the AH5795 debuts as the industry’s smallest fully featured single-chip fan driver with high-output drive capability. For driving low-power single-phase brushless DC fans and motors, the device delivers an average motor current up to 500 mA. It integrates a Hall effect sensor, amplifier, and an internal H-bridge driver output stage. A PWM speed control pin provides motor speed control by varying the duty ratio of the PWM signal, in addition to the supply voltage. Pricing is $0.30 each/1,000.
