Designed to remove transmission disrupting contaminants from critical bulkhead connections, the Fiber Optic Swab uses a 2.5 mm wrapped foam fiber optic swab with a special flat-head profile that conforms to various connector shapes. This allows the swab to thoroughly clean hard-to-reach corners inside the bulkhead pocket. The swab is reported as working wet or dry to remove both dirt and oil contaminants.
Designed to fit snugly into the connector ferrule, the swab efficiently cleans the ferrule, connector core, and the corner sections of the connector pocket. With an overall length of 6'', the swab has a polypropylene handle and comes in two convenient packages.
