The P51 manganese-zinc soft ferrite materials meet the demands of dc-dc converters and transformers. Rated for operation from 400 kHz to 1 MHz, they offer a 50% reduction in core losses at elevated temperatures and a 20% increase in saturation flux density compared to previous P5 material. They come in a range of standard and custom shapes, including low-profile geometries such as ER ERI, PEI, PEE, and low-profile RM and PT/CUT cores. Typical pricing for direct OEM customers is less than $0.110/set for P51ER9.5 and less than $0.195/set for P51ER13 cores.
