The Smart Audio Jack family supports 192-kHz/32-bit, high-definition audio technology in desktop and entertainment PCs. Targeting balanced technology extended (BTX) systems and 38.5-mm tall modules for the advanced technology extended (ATX) form factor, the series includes 35.5-mm high, triple-stack connectors. Each jack port integrates an isolated switch to provide functionality for presence detection and sensing when external audio devices are plugged in. Other features include through-hole termination, RoHS compatibility, operating temperature range from -25°C to +100°C, maximum initial contact resistance of 50 mΩ, a current rating of 1A maximum per contact, and a minimum lifespan of 1,000 cycles.
