Employing a unique UL94-VO polycarbonate construction, the latest addition to the SS-39100 series Category 6, RJ-45 plugs boasts of extensive repeatability and high yields in near-end crosstalk (NEXT). The plug meets TIA/EIA-568-B.2 requirements for NEXT and return loss, .tions, and accommodates both 24 gauge solid or stranded cable via a patented contact design. The component's load bar and strain relief design secures the cable and conductors in position prior to termination. This is said to ensure the connector can be repeatedly assembled to meet the NEXT attenuation, return loss, and other Cat 6 requirements. Other features include visual indicators, gold-plated contacts, an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, life span of 1,000 matching cycles, voltage rating of 150 Vac, and a current rating of 1.5A at 25°C.
