Developed for electronic products, this polycarbonate resin is a matrix and special silicone compound that is flame retardant, high strength, and recyclable. This plastic is used in NEC's products such as LCDs and parts packages for PCs. This compound is safer than PC, ABS, polystyrene that use bromine compounds and phosphorus compounds as flame retardants.
