Available now, a RoHS-/WEEE-compliant version of the SOWIC-to-DIP, Correct-a-Chip adapter provides users with an easy migration path to SOWIC without changing PCB layouts. It is available on 7.62-mm pitch centers and operates at temperatures up to 105°C. The adapter body is constructed of 1.56-mm FR406, or IS410 per IPC 4101A/24/26/28, with one ounce of copper traces on both sides. Pins are 360-1/2 hard brass alloy per UNS C36000 ASTM-B16-85 with 10 micro-inch minimum gold plating per MIL-G-45204 over 100 micro-inch nickel plating per QQ-N-290.
