Introduced as a polymer system, the AC85 is a highly conductive, silver-filled adhesive and sealant exhibiting reliable conductivity. The adhesive also features long-term durability, particularly when exposed to adverse environmental conditions. It is said to be cost effective and easy to apply with high area coverage. Performance characteristics include a service temperature range of 62°C to 150°C, surface resistance of 0.03 Ω/square, and an EMI performance of 60 to 70 dB. Application is via brushing, dipping, air/airless spraying equipment, and silk screening. Viscosity is adjustable with compatible solvents such as toluene, xylene, and methylene chloride.
