\[August 3, 2006\] Groomed for high-speed xDSL communications and data links, the SOFIX I/O interconnection system provides EMC protection and enables long-distance links. The system consists of right-angle headers and cable connectors, suitable for the distribution of signals or power and customizable for specific applications. The 4x6 signal connectors feature densities up to 96 lines per 10 cm on 20-mm slot and 25-mm connector pitches, while 2x4 signal connectors provide 45 lines per 10 cm on 15-mm slot and 17.5-mm connector pitches. Additionally, all connectors provide shielding down to the PCB level and support a wide range of cable types and diameters. Users can specify SOFIX PCB connectors for either wave- or pin-in-paste reflow-solder termination and cable plugs with either IDC or solder cable termination. FCI USA INC., Etters, PA.
