The RFN-1006-I-WB N-type connector features white bronze plating for a non-tarnish finish with enhanced electrical performance, making it durable enough for deployment at remote sites exposed to the environment. Supporting 0.4-inch diameter cables, the connector’s plating is ferrous metal free to reduce intermodulation interference. A ridged back end provides reliable sealing for the heat shrink boot that comes with the connector. A combination hex/knurl coupling nut allows for wrench or finger mating and the connector attaches to multiple brands of high-performance cables including Times LMR-400, Andrew CNT-400, CommScope WBC-400, and Belden RF-400. Additionally, it assembles with standard crimp tools with 0.429-inch and 0.118-inch hex dies and the contact design includes a weep hole for optional solder installation.
