A light-weight PCB mount receptacle has been developed for high-motion applications where larger style cordsets and receptacles add unwanted additional weight. Mounted at a right angle, the M8 Picofast PCB mount receptacle comes in 3-pin, 4-pin and 6-pin configurations. Picofast receptacles and their mating cordsets can be used for power and signal transfers to factory automation equipment in the pharmaceutical, electronics, and semi-conductor industries. These receptacles are mounted on PCBs and attached to a housing that provides a water-tight seal. Each receptacle includes mounting hardware for easy installation. All models use the same PCB layout, and the brass housings are made to withstand rugged industrial environments. Both male and female versions have been designed. Male versions mate with both threaded and snap-lock versions of the Picofast cordsets and female versions are designed to work with Picofast threaded cordsets. The M8 threaded receptacles provides protection that meets IEC IP 67. Voltage/current limits are 1A at 24 Vdc for the 6-pin, 4A at 36 Vdc for the 4-pin and 4A at 75 Vdc for the 3-pin.
