Based on the Australian/New Zealand standard, AS/NZS 3112:2000 fifth edition, that will become effective April 2005, the company's 10A power cords and cordsets now come with partially insulated pins. The goal is to minimize safety hazards and to be proactive in the compliance with the standard. The insulated pins will be on the company's standard and hospital-grade plugs. The power cords and cordsets are rated for voltages up to 230 Vac and currents up to 10A.
