A new line of subminiature RF microwave connectors has been developed for automotive, GPS, test and measurement, wireless, and similar applications requiring compact, lightweight and durable interconnects. The MCX/MMCX series of surface-mount microwave connectors are designed for use from dc to 6 GHz, with the snap-on interconnects rated for 500 mating cycles. Constructed of brass bodies, brass gold-plated male contacts, beryllium-copper, gold-plated female contacts, and Teflon insulators, these 50? connectors provide 750 VRMS dielectric withstanding, 1.15:1 VSWR at 6 GHz, and conform to CEECC 22220 standards. Subminiature MCX/MMCX connectors cost from $1.50 each, depending on quantity. For more details, call Douglas Snader at TRU-CONNECTOR CORP., Peabody, MA. (800) 262-9878.
