The main insulating body of the CHTB series connection blocks consists of porcelain, DIN 40685 to be exact, that specifies a working temperature range up to 1,000°C. Cable inserts, manufactured in nickel-plated brass, have a working temperature up to 350°C and their Zinc-plated steel CQ-15 cable clamp screws provide a metric thread. The blocks sport a voltage rating of 450 Vac and are available in sixteen different versions including one-, two-, three-, and four-way models with cable-insert diameters of 3 mm (32A), 3.5 mm (41A), 4.4 mm (57A), and 6 mm (76A).
