The Clear Connects WPC300 Series of push-in wire connectors eliminates the problems associated with old-fashioned wire nuts. With these transparent, reusable connectors, no wire twisting or taping is needed. Users need only strip the ends of 22-12AWG solid or stranded wires and push them into the connector to make a secure connection. A built-in wire-stripping guide ensures that the wires are stripped to the correct length. The color-coded WPC300 Series is offered in from two to eight pole positions and is suited for use in any fixed or field scenario where a safe, fast and secure connection is needed. Connectors are rated at 600 V for building use and at 1000 V for light-fixture applications within their specified wire range for either solid or stranded conductors. The series has an operating temperature range of up to 105ºC with flame-retardant, polycarbonate housing to the UL-9V2 specification. Clamping contacts are tin-plated copper, utilizing stainless steel springs. Units are available from stock, with a four-pole clear connector priced at $0.15 each in lots of 1000.
