Addressing speech-recognition markets, the SCB-13A series of dynamic speakers and MAB-06A-B, MAA-06A-B and MAA-06A-P microphones sport a compact housing. Omni-directional in operation with a minimum SNR of 58 dB, the microphones have sensitivities of -48 dB (MAB-06A-B) and -42 dB (MAA-06A-B/MAA-06A-P). They weigh only 0.5g and measure just 6 mm in circumference and 1.5 mm and 2 mm in height, respectively. The SCB-13A speakers provide resonant frequencies and loudness levels of 810 Hz and 90 dB (Type A) and 850 Hz and 92 dB (Type B). Both have a circumference of 13 mm and height of 2.5 mm and come with coil or leaf-spring contacts. Price for the speakers and microphones is $1.50 or less each in quantity volumes.
