Addressing high-current telecom applications, the RAPID LOCK bus bar connectors embark as single-pole, quick-connect/-disconnect replacements for lug connections. Forecasting more reliable and safer connections, the components also offer better serviceability than bolt-fit lugs. They integrate a locking feature on the pins for protection against accidental unlatching of the cable and are available with black insulator caps standard, or with color caps to differentiate polarity. Additionally, the connectors employ CROWN BAND contact technology, which features multiple points of contact and high conductivity copper alloys. Allegedly, this provides a low-loss, stable connection with reliable mechanical and electrical performance. Ratings from 50A to 300A are available depending on wire gauge and application.
