With Ablelux AA50 adhesive, designers have a means of quickly fixturing LEDs and laser-light sources during the active alignment of transceiver package assemblies. The adhesive, which achieves bonds in seconds, can be cured with either ultraviolet light or visible blue light. In lieu of light curing, the adhesive may be provided with a secondary thermal cure initiator.Ablelux AA50 is a high-Tg, low-shrinkage material with good adhesion to surfaces with gold metalization. It’s well suited to LED mounting, laser diode packaging, fiber pigtailing and transceiver active alignment and potting applications.
