Designed to suppress EMI noise emanating from active RF components, the Flexible Ferrite material claims to provide effective EMI suppression in the 10 MHz to 3 GHz range with an electrical resistance from 106½ to 108½. It is also said to be useful in attaining compliance to the most recent FCC and CISPR requirements. The material is available in tubular and sheet forms. The series FFAM comes in four sheet sizes from 100 mm2 to 400 mm2 in six thickness ranges from 0.25 mm to 2.5 mm. It is capable of being die cut for gasketing applications, UL-recognized, non-conductive adhesive backing is available as an option, and a flexible tubular form is available in four diameters and one-meter lengths.
