A universal plug-in controller lets users regulate the temperature of soldering irons, melting pots, hot plates and smaller devices. The Dial-Temp controller has a grounded three-prong plug for 115 vac wall outlets, a three-prong receptacle, and a knob that can be set to any position from low to high until the desired working temperature is reached. Designed for controlling fixed-temperature devices, the unit has 15A capacity. Applications include lowering the tip temperature of soldering irons to protect heat-sensitive components and moderating melting pots and hot plates.
