An extended range of UL-rated PORON silicone and urethane materials are suited for fabricating high-performance gaskets, cushions and seals. The silicone sponge materials carry UL 94V-0 flammability rating, while the urethane foams offer UL-JMST2

An extended range of UL-rated PORON silicone and urethane materials are suited for fabricating high-performance gaskets, cushions and seals. The silicone sponge materials carry UL 94V-0 flammability rating, while the urethane foams offer UL-JMST2 ratings for component gasket materials. Both materials are said to exhibit low outgassing and to demonstrate excellent resistance to compression set. In addition, the urethane foams include exceptionally thin materials, thin and soft materials cast on PET film for improved handling, and foams with slow rebound properties. All are suited for making compressive seals used in small, portable electronic systems such as pagers, cell phones and GPS systems.
