Suitable for use in compact or portable devices, the DR331-5 surface-mount inductor stands just 1 mm high in a 6.70- by 5.60-mm package. To protect critical circuits from the dangers of electromagnetic interference, the DR331-5, from Datatronic Distribution Inc., comes in a wide range of inductances, from 1.2 to 330 μH, +20%. The dc resistance ranges from 0.08 to 15 ω, and current ratings are 2.1 to 0.13 A. The inductors are rated for operation from -40 to +85°C, and they are RoHS compliant. The inductor’s flat top design makes it compatible with high-speed pick-and-place assembly equipment, and it is suitable for high-temperature soldering in accordance with J-STD-020C. The devices come with either gold wrap around or tin wrap around terminations at no additional charge. They are shipped standard on tape-and-reel with 2000 pieces per reel. For special circuit requirements, custom-designed DR331-5 inductors are available upon request. Lead time is stock to six weeks. Prices start at $0.29 each in typical production volumes. Volume OEM pricing is available. For more information, go to www.datatronics.com.
