The SG-MLF-7012 and SG-MLF-7014 sockets support 0.5-mm pitch BCC84 and BCC92 devices, respectively. The sockets are designed for a 7 mm x 7 mm or 8 mm x 8 mm package size and operate at bandwidths up to 10 GHz with less than 1 dB of insertion loss. Capable of dissipating up to several Watts without extra heat sinking, they can handle up to 100W with a custom heat sink. Contact resistance is typically 23 mW per pin. Other features include an operating temperature range from -35°C to +85°C, pin inductance of 10.15 nH, and a capacitance to ground of 0.10 pF. Single-unit prices are $321 (SG-MLF-7012) and $351 (SG-MLF-7014). IRONWOOD ELECTRONICS, Eagan, MN. (800) 404-0204.
