Hazardous fumes generated by soldering, adhesives and other electronics production activities are said to be safely eliminated with a new portable fume extraction system. And in activities such as soldering operations, the system offers both tip and arm extraction capabilities: when used for tip extractions, the system reportedly can efficiently collect fumes from two soldering irons, with extraction kits available for all types of irons; or, alternatively, the fumes can be removed via the system's flexible extraction arm- the stainless steel arm is resistant to corrosion and acid and is infinitely positionable for ease of use.The system uses a multi-stage filter technology that is said to remove virtually all of the hazardous particulates and gases from fumes. Other system features include a powerful vacuum, a high-capacity filter, and low noise operation.
