The IDK 1.5N/ZB hybrid dual-level terminal block provides two separate channels that employ two distinct termination technologies in one compact footprint. This design promises a reduction in production labor via the IDC termination while offering users the familiar screw-clamp connection for field terminations. The externally tensioned IDC termination technology and yellow wire guide provide visual indication of a correctly terminated conductor. As wire stripping and crimping is unnecessary, the component predicts wiring-time reductions in the realm of 76%.
