A drop-in replacement for workstation microscopes in most assembly and inspection applications can be found in the SuperScope LCD vision system. The space-saving system consists of a flat LCD monitor and high-resolution camera with an integral illumination system. The 10.4" TFT active-matrix color monitor enables users to view the LCD screen from any comfortable angle and makes viewing easy and crisp. The unit eliminates the multiple problems of narrow field of view and physical discomfort associated with long hours of microscope use. The system's autofocus camera keeps the workpiece in focus even as it's moved and is instantly zoomable from 4x to 40x.The unit mounts on a standard microscope stand and has its own variable light source with contrast/brightness controls mounted on the LCD monitor itself.
