This 3.5" x 4.5" sponge with a 1" expanded thickness has sulfur levels that are below 20 ppm and a fine pore structure that is particularly suited for use with smaller tip sizes. A proper sponge can greatly extend tip life by eliminating unnecessary abrasive cleaning procedures such as brushes, steel wool, tip tinners, etc. The total surface area of these sponges is 6.7 times greater than a single hole sponge, offering a much greater volume to collect dross. The sponges are available in compressed form in packs of ten.
