Designed for machine vision applications, DSL6000 digital camera offers unparalleled accuracy, repeatability and speed. It has an integrated 10-bit A/D converter for internal image capture and digitization. Handling these functions inside the camera eliminates the noise and pixel jitter caused by electrical interference. A full 10 bits of image information yields a complete scale of 256 gray levels compared with 128 gray level for 8-bit processing. The camera is capable of acquiring more than 70 full-resolution, 640 x 480 images per second. With partial scanning, it is capable of image acquisition speeds of more than 10,000 parts per minute.
