The Analyst ft test system is claimed to tightly integrate manufacturing-defects analysis (MDA) with power-up functional tests to provide high-fault coverage in a single, low-cost test station. The system is configured with a long-travel, pneumatic fixture press built into a rack-cabinet. The system is configured by snapping removable, cable-glass fixture kits into place without the need for tools. It is said that fixture change over takes only a few seconds. A 400 test-point system is priced at $34,500 and includes MDA and functional test electronics, a comprehensive Windows software package, GPIB control, built-in power supplies, and digital I/O.
