The Stycast E 1420FR A/B flame-retardant encapsulant protects electronic sensors from temperature extremes found in industrial and aerospace applications. The material is said to provide the protection without compromising the device's integrity or reliability. It is effective at thicknesses of just 0.25" and can be used in meter mix or manual dispensing equipment with its one-to-one mix ratio. Temperature protection range is from -40°C to 130°C without degradation of physical properties. And the encapsulant can be cured in as little as 60 minutes at 120°C.
