By locating their wire entry spot at a 90¡ orientation with the mounting rail, TOP System terminal blocks are said to cut space requirements by 50% compared with typical screw-clamp blocks, as well as provide a more orderly wire layout to make circuit identification and testing easier.TOP System blocks come in three versions: standard types offering a 10-way discrete/fixed connection terminal block that can replace 10 individual DIN rail mount blocks; plug-in models consisting of 10-way modules equipped with 10 fixed and 10 pluggable connections; and 16-, 20-, 34- and 40-way blocks for interfacing ribbon cable to discrete wiring.
