Cord Grips Offer Liquid-Tight, EMI-Protected Strain Relief

Well-suited for use with braided and foil-shielded cable, these new liquid-tight cord grips are nickel plated to protect against EMI. Installation consists of three steps: strip the cable, insert it into the fitting, and tighten. A nickel-plated nut provides a reliable ground path to the mounting surface. The strain reliefs are functional in temperatures from -40°F to +212°F and can handle up to 150 psig of pressure. Said to be unique, the splines allow for a substantial cable range for each of the 10 basic sizes and cable diameters ranging from 0.0625" to 1.75".
