A new set of high-density, four-row surface-mount headers and sockets provides up to 200 I/Os in less than one square inch of space. Board stacking height choices are 6.35, 8, 10 and 12 mm. FourRay headers and sockets come in two series, TOLC and SOLC. The socket construction on the SOLC series has high retention, tuning-fork-style contacts. Both series have pin counts from 5 to 50 positions per row, in multiples of five. Other lead counts are available. For through-hole, four-row applications on 1.27 mm pitch, two FourRay socket and terminal sets are available, the MOLC and FOLC series. Socket construction on the FOLC series has high reliability, three-finger beryllium copper Tiger-Eye contacts. Connector sets have pin counts from 20 to 50 positions in multiples of five per row with stack heights from 6 mm to 12 mm. Pricing starts at $0.15 to $0.20 per mated line.
