The new 862 Series connectors are reported as a cost-effective and flexible alternative to traditional chassis-mount terminal blocks such as barrier and terminal strips. The connectors are available with voltage and current ratings of 300V/20A or 600V/5A and can terminate wire sizes from 20 to 12 AWG. Options include: mounting via snap-in mounting feet or self-tapping screw; pre-marked versions, custom marking, or write/print on marker strips; four connection points per pole; hands-free test points; and a ground contact for automatic grounding to the chassis.
