Meeting stringent medical-device requirements, the HyperGrip plastic, color-coded circular connector is both user-configurable and keyable and is available in sealed and shielded configurations. The sealed connector provides IP67 protection when mated, while the shielded version supplies EMI/RFI protection. A unique feature is the connector's front- or rear-panel mount design that allows users to mount the harness assembly from inside or outside of the case. Additionally, it employs the company's proprietary contact technology, said to ensure a high mating cycle life, low power consumption, low insertion force, reliability under harsh conditions, and maximum contact performance.
