Promising mechanically and electrically solid connections, the company’s line of pneumatic, handheld, and tabletop ferrule crimpers can be used to attach both insulated and non-insulated ferrules onto wires and cables. The pneumatic units come assembled and ready for hookup to a compressed air supply. They produce a trapezoidal crimp cross section, promising an optimum mechanical and electrical connection between the ferrule and the conductor. Handheld tools offer front or side wire entry crimpers with one or a number of individual cavities. A vise-mount version with top entry wire cavities is also available. Conta-Clip, Hillsborough, NJ.
