The Type AST128 SPRINGCON terminal block employs what is described as a unique spring clamp design that provides constant contact resistance and automatic adjustment of spring force to accommodate various wire sizes. Sporting a 7.62-mm footprint, the block comes wire ready and provides an easy-to-terminate, gas-tight connection. Other features include an industrial-grade housing, dual-wire entry, a modular design with color code options, and a field-friendly, tool-less design.
