Engineered to exceed TIA/EIA-568B.2 data-wiring standards, the 39200 series Category 6 modular plugs are suitable for use in a range of next-generation 10 Gigabit Ethernet telecommunication, premise wiring, and networking applications. The plugs feature a two-level load bar that separates the split pairs, ensuring their ability to exceed CAT 6 performance requirements for near-end cross talk and return loss. The load bar also eases assembly by accurately positioning the wires for termination. Another helpful feature, a termination tool crimps both the contacts and the shield fingers in a single step. The plug employs a dual crimp shield that provides a ground connection and strain relief. A bend limiting strain relief boot with an anti-snag tab is available as an option. The plugs accommodate both 24 and 26 AWG solid or stranded cables. Specs include an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, durability of 750 cycles, voltage rating of 150 Vac, and a current rating of 1.5 A at 25°C. Pricing for a plug with strain relief boots starts at $0.57 each/10,000. BEL FUSE INC., Jersey City, NJ. (201) 432-0463.
