Adding to the ELCON Mini CROWN EDGE line of low-profile, high-current power connectors for pluggable 1U and 2U voltage regulator modules (VRM) applications, the Mini CROWN EDGE connector is available in a variety of form factors and now offers a greater choice in contact spacing and connector length. A tighter-fit configuration allows for a higher density of signal contacts on a 0.05" centerline. The connector suits VRM 10.2 applications and beyond with current levels up to 150A. Individual power contacts are rated at 25A each at a 30°C temperature rise in still air. Termination options are dependent upon the configuration of the connector chosen. The connector is available in SMT and through-hole types. TYCO ELECTRONICS, Harrisburg, PA. (800) 522-6752.
